Renewed Spar Eindhout to reopen on 13 June

Upgraded shopping experience on renewed site

Spar Colruyt Group Eindhout reopens its doors on Thursday 13 June. The store, an established value in the region since 2004, has undergone a complete makeover. With a new interior and exterior inspired by the latest-generation Spar stores, Spar Eindhout can now fully focus on sustainability, freshness and local products. Entrepreneurs Erkan and Melda, and their dedicated team, are excited to welcome their customers to the revamped store.

A new generation at the helm

The Spar in Eindhout is a story of family bonds and entrepreneurship. Initially taken over by Erkan's father-in-law, a passionate butcher, the store is now in the hands of the next generation. “The store was in need of renovation," Erkan says. “We’re proud of our neat and tidy look, but the premises were outdated. With these alterations we want to offer our customers an even better shopping experience." The renovations resulted in a brand-new interior, from the tiles to the ceiling, and an optimised store layout.

Focus on fresh and local

The revamped Spar Eindhout is strongly committed to offering freshness and local products. “We're known for our fresh product range, and we want to expand that even further," Melda comments. The bread department is given a special upgrade with craftsmanship and authenticity at centre stage. In addition, the catering department's product range will be upgraded to include home-made regional specialties.

These culinary innovations create a revised store layout designed to provide customers with an even more pleasant and efficient shopping experience. "We had our customers in mind with every adjustment we made," Erkan explains. “The same goes for our opening hours. For instance, we’ll be opening as early as 8 a.m. instead of 8:30 a.m. from now on”

Sustainability at the forefront

“We invested in sustainable CO2 refrigerators and LED lighting with sensors," Melda says. “This is our way of reducing our environmental impact while building a better future for us all."

With these renovations, Spar Eindhout promises to remain a place where customers can not only do their daily groceries, but also have a unique and inspiring shopping experience. The mix of innovation and respect for tradition makes Spar Eindhout fully future-proof.

Festive opening

Shopping will not be possible until Thursday 13 June but everyone is welcome at the grand opening reception on Wednesday 12 June, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Customers can explore the new store while enjoying snacks and drinks. Also, there are plenty of amazing opening-week offers and discounts to be found in the special opening folder.

And there's more. “A couple of weeks after our fresh start, we’re organising a BBQ where customers can savour the specialties of our head butcher,” Erkan is proud to announce. "And in September, we're having a pizza day. Our customers can then come and taste our fresh pizzas that will be baked on charcoal on site.”
