Colruyt Wilrijk reopens its doors on Wednesday 23 November

On Wednesday 23 November 2022 the Colruyt Lowest Prices store in Wilrijk will reopen its doors. The store at the Laarstraat is completely renovated and reorganised with the necessary attention to sustainability. Customers can also still visit their familiar Collect&Go collection point there.

Efficient and pleasant shopping

Colruyt Wilrijk is a spacious store with an extensive assortment of quality products. Store Manager Claudio Montemurro: "In the renewed store customers can visit an enlarged freshmart with an even bigger selection of products such as vegetables and fruit, salads, cheese or ready-made meals. ​ The butcher's department was reorganised as well and now has an open workshop where you can see our qualified butchers at work. They cut the meat on site and are easily approachable in case of questions or for special orders."

Collect&Go does your shopping

Colruyt is always thinking about how shopping can be done even more efficiently, that is why the Collect&Go collection point in Wilrijk was optimised. Even more customers can now be served there. Collect&Go is Colruyt Group's handy online shopping service. Customers send their shopping lists to collectandgo.be or through the app and co-workers have their products ready at the collection point by the day and time of their choice.

Additional attention to sustainability

As always, Colruyt has focussed on sustainability during the renovation of Colruyt Wilrijk. The store has LED lights with a sensor everywhere, which saves up to 30% energy, and the residual heat of the cooling units is recovered. Thanks to efficient isolation, ventilation, refrigeration and heating, the store has a good energy balance and a reduced CO₂ impact. A charging station for 2 electric cars has also been provided on the car park.
