The new Spar Grez-Doiceau will open its doors on 27 March. It is the successor to the former Match store, which was taken over by Colruyt Group in 2023 and briefly operated under the brand Comarché. Spar promises the people of Grez-Doiceau a welcoming local space thanks to a traditional fishmonger, cheese section and cold cuts. It also focuses on a local offer that is aimed at the pleasure of taste.

In this next-generation store, the focus is on fresh products, with areas assigned to craftsmanship:

- Bakery offering bread and pastries risen and baked on site.
- Premium aperitif corner with sophisticated snacks and bottles always at the right temperature.
- Hot and cold catering section, ideal for meals on the go.
"It's a bright, modern and functional store. When you come back from work at 6 or 7 p.m., you will find everything you need: fresh products, catering service, delicious desserts. Need a fast aperitif? Everything is ready and fresh for you!", explains Hugues Jeangout, in charge of Spar development.
Local flavours
Loyal to its commitment to a short supply chain, Spar Grez-Doiceau highlights regional producers by offering a selection of pies, juice, sweets and so many other things, for example in the butcher's section. The local offer will evolve following customers' preferences.

The store team, which is partly composed of former Match employees, can't wait to welcome customers in a warm and dynamic atmosphere. On the programme:
- Opening reception on Wednesday 26 March from 6 to 9 p.m.
