New Okay with Bon'Ap Shop Opens in De Haan

On Friday, 5 December, Okay De Haan will open its doors. At the convenient neighbourhood supermarket at Grotestraat 111, customers will find a varied range for every moment of the day, plus a Bon'Ap shop-in-shop. The store has been built using sustainable techniques and materials and offers 543 m² of shopping comfort. Store manager Letitia Rowies and the team at Okay and Bon'Ap De Haan are looking forward to welcoming their new customers. Very convenient: the store will also be open on Sundays, from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. From 2026 onwards, all Okay stores will be open on Sunday mornings.

From Comarkt to Okay with Bon'Ap

On 5 December, the Comarkt store in De Haan will reopen as an Okay store with a Bon'Ap shop-in-shop. The former Comarkt in De Haan already housed a Buurtslagers counter, part of the Meat&More group, which also includes Bon'Ap.

Christophe Dehandschutter, Director of Okay, explains: “The final destinations of our Comarkt stores have been known for some time. In East and West Flanders, several Comarkt stores will reopen as Okay in the coming months. In four of these stores, we will partner with Bon'Ap. Alongside Okay's trusted range, customers will also find Bon'Ap's extensive offering, including ​ freshly prepared sandwiches, charcuterie, fresh meat and ready-made meals. In this way, we offer our customers a range that showcases the strengths of both partners.”

Two partners, one checkout, many familiar faces

Letitia Rowies, store manager of Okay De Haan, looks forward to the synergy: "A unique partnership with Bon'Ap is on the horizon. With our team we are ready every day, including Sunday mornings, to serve our customers. This total package offering will be a great added value for both our colleagues and customers.The convenience that Okay and Bon'Ap stand for, remains central. Customers will pay for all their purchases, from both stores, together at the Okay checkout." Customers will be welcomed and served by 10 Okay employees, 7 of whom are familiar faces from their former Comarkt store. Bon'Ap staff also worked at the former Buurtslagers, with a few new faces joining the team.

As always, Okay guarantees customers shopping at the lowest prices in the neighbourhood. With Xtra, customers enjoy additional promotions, automatically applied when scanning the Xtra app or card at checkout.

Festive Opening

The grand opening of Okay and Bon'Ap in De Haan will take place on 5 and 6 December. On those two days, customers will be able to enjoy food trucks and tastings. Opening discounts will also apply to both the Okay and Bon'Ap ranges.
