Foodbag is the Belgian meal kit, founded in 2014 in Ghent. Following the merger of the two Belgian meal kit companies Foodbag and Smartmat in 2019, Foodbag became a brand under Smartmat NV. In 2021, Smartmat NV also acquired 15gram, making it the largest fresh food e-commerce company in Belgium. Every week, Foodbag delivers fresh and varied meal kits to homes across Belgium. With a team of 60 employees, 100 drivers, and around 150 packers, Foodbag ensures smooth and personal service. Deliveries are carried out in collaboration with Nestor, which engages people over 50 and retirees to deliver each box chilled and with a smile right to your doorstep.
