Renewed Spar Dadizele to reopen on 10 April

Shopping and indulging locally tailored to the neighbourhood

Wednesday, April 2, 2025

On Thursday 10 April, the Spar Colruyt Group store in Dadizele will reopen its doors after undergoing a thorough facelift. The cosy local supermarket is now a lot spacier and was also organised more logically, for even more shopping comfort. Absolute eye-catchers are still the meat and cheese counters of De Boe Cherie and the bakery department. New additions include a sushi corner and tasty, daily fresh pancakes, all served with the same friendly service customers are used to. Everyone who walks into the renewed Spar Dadizele will immediately feel it: this is what fun tastes like. During the festive weekend on 12 and 13 April, customers can discover the products and there will also be plenty of children's activities.

Open every day, always welcome

Even after the renovation, Spar Dadizele sets itself apart with optimal opening hours, perfectly aligned with customers' pace of life. The renewed store is open every day from early in the morning until 7 p.m., including on Sundays and public holidays. Day after day, a motivated store team is ready to serve you. With a smile and expert advice.

Specialities tailored to the neighbourhood

In this new-generation Spar Colruyt Group store, fresh products take centre stage, with a strong focus on artisanal specialities made with care and passion:

  • Meat, charcuterie and cheese department of De Boe Cherie, where tasty, high-quality products and local specialities are cut and packed to the customer's wishes.
  • Bakery, under private label Maison Odette, with bread risen and baked on site, pastries and baked goods.
  • Kazumi Sushi corner with super fresh sushi, prepared at the store and rolled by an experienced and talented sushi chef.
  • Fresh pancakes, baked on site with home-made batter.

"Spar Dadizele is an enjoyable, modern and functional store. A cosy place where villagers like to meet up and we are happy to make time for a talk and some good advice", store manager Patrick Huyse says. He also runs the Spar store in Mouscron with his wife Elien."When we renewed the store, we included some playful elements and additional experience for children: this will make it even more fun for families to shop at our store."

Love of local flavours

Spar Dadizele is committed to the shortest chain possible. That's why they like to work with producers from the region. In addition to the home-made cold cuts, the locally brewed beers, artisanal cheeses and many more regional specialities are certainly worth the trip.

Spar: this is what fun tastes like

The renewed Spar in Dadizele is a real must for anyone who loves good food, according to Patrick. "Our customers like to come to our store for the honest, artisanal and tasty prepared products of De Boe Cherie and Maison Odette. And elsewhere in our store, you can also feel what the Spar brand really means: freshness, quality and the pleasure of always discovering new wonderful flavours."

Festive opening and tasters

The entire store team of the renewed Spar is looking forward to welcoming customers from Dadizele and the surrounding villages in a warm and dynamic atmosphere. The reopening will be a flavoursome party with these activities:

  • Reopening on Thursday 10 April.
  • Competition and promotions to discover all the departments at the store.
  • Festive weekend on 12 and 13 April, with children's activities and face painting, fresh pancakes, chips with stew and a visit from the Easter bunny.
