Spar Colruyt Group Halle reopens on Thursday 28 August

A familiar address, with a fresh new look

After a thorough renovation, the Spar Colruyt Group store in Halle will reopen its doors on Thursday 28 August. The store, run by Wim and Carla, has undergone a complete transformation with a brand-new interior, improved shopping comfort, and an expanded range of freshly prepared products. Customers will soon rediscover a well-organised store full of fresh products in a warm, familiar atmosphere.

Ready for the future

Spar Halle is an established name in the surrounding area. Wim and Carla have been running the store with passion for 13 years and have built a close-knit team of around 30 co-workers, many of whom have been part of the shop for years. Thanks to the recent renovation, Spar Halle is now fully future-proof — with a modern store concept and even better service for customers.

“We’re incredibly proud of the result,” say Wim and Carla. “Our shop is more spacious, more organised and more welcoming than ever. It’s now an even more pleasant place to shop.”

Key highlights of the renewed store

Beyond the refreshed interior, Spar Halle has even more to offer. The store is designed with customer convenience in mind:

  • It is now also open on Monday mornings.
  • An additional check-out has been added to handle busy times more efficiently.
  • With its spacious car park and location near the junction of Nijvelsesteenweg and the A8, the store is easily accessible.

Freshness and craftsmanship at the heart

Freshness remains at the core of Spar Halle. Customers can enjoy an extensive bakery section with bread, pastries and baked goods prepared on-site. An additional proofing cabinet ensures a wide selection of freshly baked rolls, even during peak hours.

The self-service counter for sliced cold meat and cheese is another highlight — the offer has been expanded with high-quality products. All sliced cold meat products are now also available in a new, sustainable packaging. And for anyone in a hurry, there’s a wide selection of fresh and ready-made meals.

A local team with passion

Spar Halle employs around 30 co-workers, including flexi-job workers and student workers. Most of them live nearby and know the customers personally, which contributes to a warm and friendly shopping experience. The product range also reflects this local connection: from strawberries and potatoes from nearby growers to a wide selection of regional beers.

Festive reopening with special promotions

To celebrate the reopening, customers will be treated to some special extras. For the first 11 days, you can win a fully stocked shopping trolley worth €400. Every customer spending €50 or more receives a free bottle of Crémant de Bordeaux or alcohol-free sparkling wine from Freixenet. There will also be extra promotions in the fresh food departments.

The taste of joy

With this reopening, Spar Halle is clearly investing in the future — without losing the charm of a real neighbourhood shop. “Customers come to Spar Halle for our wide range of fresh products at fair prices. Many pop in several times a week, for a quick shop or just for a chat,” say Wim and Carla. “We’re really looking forward to welcoming everyone again, with a smile.”
