It is a fully refurbished Colruyt Lowest Prices shop that will reopen its doors on Wednesday 31 August in Ellezelles. With more room for fresh goods to offer a better range of fresh produce, a redesigned butchery with an open workshop facilitating contact with the butchers, a new shelf for over-the-counter healthcare items… and above all sustainable decisions during the renovation. Customers can be first to discover what’s new as from Tuesday 30 August, during an open evening between 5pm and 8pm.
Efficient and pleasant shopping
The Colruyt Lowest Prices in Ellezelles has been fully refurbished. The non-food range has been enriched with a shelf for over-the-counter healthcare items and the fresh zone has been greatly enlarged. Didier Delfosse, the manager, explains: “We are delighted to welcome our customers to this shop that has undergone a complete transformation. In the fresh zone they can choose from a larger selection of fruit and vegetables, salads, ready meals, etc. And for their fresh meat, six qualified butchers will be permanently at their service thanks to our new open workshop. That makes it really easy to ask for information or make a specific request. My colleagues and I cannot wait to welcome our customers back to our brand-new store.”
Particular attention to sustainability
Colruyt invests continuously in efficiency, and its shop in Ellezelles is no exception. So it is no surprise that several sustainable choices were made in the renovation. For example, the shop is equipped with energy-saving bulbs featuring motion detection. Result: lights that shine only when necessary and that use 30% less energy!
As for the car park, which is still shared with Brico, two charging stations have now been added, allowing a total of four electric vehicles to be charged. Some extra-large bays have also been included for bike and cargo bikes.
