Renewed Colruyt Lowest Prices to open in Blankenberge

The renewed Colruyt Lowest Prices store will open on the Ruiterstraat on Wednesday 13 March 2023. Besides the renovated butcher's section, lots of attention was paid to an efficient store layout and sustainability. A Collect&Go collection point is again available in Blankenberge.
Efficient shopping at the lowest prices
The store offers a wide range of quality products at the lowest prices throughout its 2,296 m2. Store manager Jessie Vandenbon: “In the fully renovated butcher's section, the self-service counter has been replaced by closed, sea-through refrigerators that emit less CO2. The open workshop makes it easy for customers to approach the butchers with questions or for special orders.” The bread range was also expanded, and the store was organised differently. Customers will be able to do their shopping even more efficiently now in Blankenberge. On the car park, 10 extra wide bike racks have been provided so (cargo) bikes can be securely attached.
Ordering groceries at Collect&Go
Customers once again have a Collect&Go collection point at their disposal in Blankenberge. Collect&Go is Colruyt Group's convenient online shopping service. Customers send in their shopping lists via collectandgo.be or via the app, and employees have their products ready for them at the collection point by the day and time of their choice.
Extra focus on sustainability
The store in Blankenberge has energy-efficient LED lights with a sensor everywhere, which saves up to 30% energy. The residual heat from cooling is recovered and the ventilation system reuses as much as 75% of the heat. Solar panels on the store's roof provide green electricity. Colruyt aims to utilise all these measures to optimise its energy consumption and reduce its CO2 impact.
Open house evening Tuesday 12 March
Store manager Jessie Vandenbon: “Together with my team of 54 store workers, I look forward to welcoming our customers. That is why we are happy to invite them to be the first to discover the renewed store during our open house from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday 12 March. See you then!”
