New Spar in the heart of Namur

More modern and convenient, and more fresh produce in the city.

Namur city centre is welcoming a brand-new Spar store on the site of the former Match on Rue des Échassiers, which briefly operated as a Comarché. This modern store promises an experience focused on culinary pleasure, with a marked increase in the range of fresh and healthy produce on offer. Celebratory opening on Thursday 5 June.

100% serving the people of Namur

The refurbishment has incorporated cutting-edge technologies with an uncluttered shelving layout. Dany Clarinval, the new store manager, is incredibly proud: “We’ve created a modern space that meets the current expectations of the people of Namur: more fresh and healthy produce, a free-flowing route around the store and a welcoming environment.”

The three pillars of Spar pleasure and taste

  • An expanded range of high-quality fresh produce, with a particular focus on healthy eating.
  • Modern technologies such as fast payment systems and advanced stock management tools to ensure optimum product availability.
  • A warm, functional design that makes shopping a pleasure at any time of day, with optimised low-energy lighting.

Fair prices

Spar Namur also offers excellent value for money, with competitive prices, special offers, Action Weeks and all the benefits of the Colruyt Group Xtra card.

An experienced local team

The store’s team is a mix of new faces and former Match personnel, to ensure continuity in serving the people of Namur.

Opening with a focus on flavour

  • Competitions and special offers from 5 June.
  • Low prices for several weeks to discover the full breadth of the Spar range.
