From Thursday 19 February, a new Spar Colruyt Group store will open its doors in Sterrebeek. The neighbourhood supermarket on Mechelsesteenweg has been given a fresh Spar look, with a strong focus on fresh and local products. The store will be open seven days a week. Residents of Sterrebeek and the surrounding area can enjoy fresh, high-quality products and a pleasant shopping experience at the new Spar store at Mechelsesteenweg 207 from Thursday 19 February. A different supermarket previously operated at this location. All employees of the former neighbourhood store, including student workers and part-time and temporary staff, are making the transition as well. To serve customers even better, opening hours have been extended and the store will be open seven days a week.
Freshly cut cheese and new wine section
Customers shopping at Spar Sterrebeek will easily find the familiar, wide-ranging assortment they know and trust. Several categories have been upgraded, including regional products and sushi. Spar is introducing several new accents and will continue to expand and refine the existing offer. Completely new are the freshly cut cheese at the in-store counter, the extended bakery and delicatessen section, and the wine department. The checkouts, shelving and car park remain unchanged.
Festive reopening
During a short closure period, the former store received a full Spar makeover. Everyone is welcome to discover the new neighbourhood supermarket on Thursday 19 February from 8 a.m. On Saturday 21 February, between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m., all customers will be treated to a complimentary snack and drink. In addition, there will be many attractive discounts during the opening week, thanks to a special opening flyer.
