New Spar Colruyt Group in Jumet opens on 12 February
A brand-new Spar Colruyt Group store is opening in Jumet, on Rue Hubert Bastin, where the former Match – briefly operating as Comarché – once stood. This modern, welcoming store will be open seven days a week and offer a shopping experience focused on culinary pleasure, with a marked increase in the range of fresh products on offer. The celebratory opening will take place on Thursday, 12 February.

Bakery and patisserie
The new Spar in Jumet offers a wide range of artisan breads and pastries. The bakery workshop ensures Atelier Artisan’s team of 11 bakers are on hand to prepare and bake all our customers’ favourite products in-store for any time of day, from breakfast to dessert.

A focus on sustainability
Like the rest of the group’s brands, Spar attaches great importance to sustainable construction and aims to reduce its ecological footprint as much as possible. The new Jumet store has been equipped with an adapted refrigeration unit, a heat recovery system to provide heating, optimised low-energy lighting, and door-mounted fridges, all of which reduce energy consumption.

The store team features a mix of new faces and former Match personnel from the region, to ensure continuity of service for local residents.

- Opening reception on Wednesday, 11 February, 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
