Colruyt Professionals is experiencing success and is expanding with the opening of a second shop in Wallonia. The fourth shop within this formula will open its doors on 20 November in Jumet, not far from Charleroi. With a surface area of 1,399m², the shop in Jumet offers the best possible infrastructure and accessibility for professional customers.
A shop specifically for professional customers
Colruyt Professionals continues its expansion in Belgium with the opening of a fourth shop. This is the second one in Wallonia, following the formula's recent opening in Wandre. Colruyt Professionals is a food and beverage wholesaler aimed at professional customers. Jumet's Colruyt Professionals can be found at 7 rue Hubert Bastin and opens its doors from 6.30am to 8pm. The shop takes the place of the former Match shop, which was part of the recent acquisition by Colruyt Group.
The shop is all set to welcome all professional customers from the Charleroi region. They will be able to enjoy wholesale prices, large formats and larger packaging. With their Professional Plus card, customers can make their purchases quickly and efficiently and pay for their goods and take them with them immediately. They will receive a detailed invoice on the spot, and benefit from personalised discounts.
An ever-expanding range
With more than 4,000 products, the shop has the largest assortment in Wallonia. "We base the range on the products most bought by professional customers in nearby Colruyt shops. And we constantly adapt this according to demand. Some specific products, such as those related to vaping and tobacco, are stored in a locked room and reserved for registered tobacco retailers, with a tracking and tracing system, "explains Jean-Christophe Burlet, Regional Sales Manager at Colruyt Lowest Prices.
More Colruyt Professionals shops are expected to open in the coming years. These openings will strengthen Colruyt Group's expansion plan in the B2B market. The ultimate goal is to go up to ten Colruyt Professionals shops across Belgium.
