Increased demand for electric bicycles
The electric bicycle market is on the rise: on the one hand, because of people, who want to replace their first electric bicycle and on the other hand because for some consumers the threshold has become low enough to buy their first electric bicycle. Moreover, electric bicycles have become a feasible solution to commute in the framework of micro-mobility and innovative mobility and/or circulation plans. Moreover, the recent CoVid-19 crisis caused an increase in demand on the bicycle market the past weeks: bicycle stocks are shrinking noticeably, and the summer has yet to begin.
For this reason, Fiets! decided it was the perfect moment to propose an extra supply of electric bicycles with a very interesting price/quality ratio and permanent availability. A qualitative electric bike in all price segments, also for companies
The name Hiron refers to freedom, symbolised by the swallow. Hiron includes six high-quality electric bicycles: one for women and one for men in three different models with an excellent price/quality ratio. The first model is a basic model and the other two have a battery incorporated in the frame. The prices of the Hiron bikes range from € 2149 to € 3299.
Bart Pillen: "It is a bicycle made on the basis of our Fiets! know-how to ride on our typical Belgian roads. The Hiron bicycles are equipped with a Bosch motor, hydraulic disc brakes and a suspension for optimum safety in all weather conditions."

Pillen: "We believe that the electric bicycle is a feasible addition to or even an alternative for the company car. Customers can always count on Fiets! for maintenance and repair since all shops have their own workshop. Of course, Fiets! also has other well-know brands in the assortment. "We want to expand the supply to provide more options to our customers. It is our ambition to be able to offer all our customers the bicycle they need. And this means that we also stake on the standard bicycle", says Bart Pillen.
