Complete recipes with one click directly into the Collect&Go shopping basket

Tuesday, November 14, 2023

From today, recipes from a number of culinary websites can easily be added to the Collect&Go shopping basket. This was already possible for Colruyt Lowest Prices and Bio-Planet recipes on collectandgo.be and this service is now being extended to other websites such as 'Lekker van bij ons'. Recipes there are added directly to a Collect&Go order with one click, immediately in the right quantities. As such, Collect&Go is the first Belgian retail formula to offer this option, providing customers with extra convenience and inspiration.

Extra convenience when preparing weekly menu

It was already possible for recipes on the Collect&Go and Colruyt websites to be placed directly in the Collect&Go shopping basket. As of today, this is also possible on the websites of 15 Grams, Lekker van bij ons, Goestjes, Een Lepeltje Lekkers, Met 5 Aan Tafel and Secretos Del Sur. More partners will be added to that list in the coming months.

"It's very simple: any recipe on these partners' websites can easily be added to your shopping basket with a single click on the Collect&Go button - instantly adjusted, with the right quantities for the number of people in your family. Then you can simply forward your order on the Collect&Go website," said Tom De Prater, Director at Collect&Go.

Customers can then go and pick up their shopping at one of the 240 pick-up points, or have it delivered to their home. "This allows us to offer our customers even more convenience when looking for inspiration. We let them discover new recipes, new culinary experiences, new ideas for their weekly menus. And that in a surprisingly easy way. Because that is what Collect&Go stands for," adds Tom De Prater.

Together with SmartWithFood: a constructive synergy

Translating an online recipe into a concrete shopping list on Collect&Go is made possible by SmartWithFood, the technology partner in this story - and also part of Colruyt Group. In recent years, they specialised in such 'shoppable recipes' and other 'food tech' solutions.
