On Wednesday 9 November 2022 the Colruyt Lowest Prices store in Tessenderlo will reopen its doors. From then, customers can enjoy the lowest prices in the region in Tessenderlo as well. Moreover, the store was built with the necessary attention to sustainability.
Spacious store with extensive assortment
Colruyt Tessenderlo is a spacious store with a large assortment of quality products, both from well-known and private labels (Boni Selection and Everyday). Store manager Greet Vandeweyer: "Our store has a surface of 1,394 m2, which is a whopping three times bigger than the former OKay store that was located here. So there is plenty of room to provide spacious shopping aisles so that our customers can shop quietly and smoothly." There is also a butcher's department with an open workshop where you can see the qualified butchers at work. That way, you can easily address them with questions or for special orders.
Collect&Go does your shopping
With the new store, a Collect&Go collection point opens as well. Collect&Go is Colruyt Group's handy online shopping service. You send your shopping list to collectandgo.be or the app, and the co-workers have all products ready at the collection point on the day and time of your choice.
Sustainable choices, as always
At Colruyt Tessenderlo as well, the focus was on sustainability. For example, we use heat recovery: the heat released by our cooling installation is recovered to heat the store. And thanks to solar panels, we generate our own energy. That way, we can lower our CO2 impact. In addition, a charging post for 2 electric cars has been provided and it is also possible to safely stall (cargo) bikes.
The team is ready for you
Colruyt provides jobs in your region. Eventually, the team of the new store will exist of 30 new store co-workers and 8 butchers. Greet Vandeweyer: "We are looking forward to welcoming you with the whole team. That is why we are happy to invite you to be the first to get acquainted with the new store during our open door evening on Tuesday 8 November from 17 to 20 pm."
