Colruyt opens new store in Epinois

On Wednesday 28 March, a brand-new Colruyt store opens at the Route de Charleroi in Epinois. It is located at a mere 3 km from Colruyt Binche, which is closed for renovation work. With a surface of 1,800 m2, the store can welcome a large number of customers and offer them a vast range of products.

New-generation store
Store manager Emmanuel Martin: "The number of customers in Colruyt Binche keeps growing. But it is impossible to expand this Colruyt store. For this reason, we decided to build a brand-new store on the other side of town." Colruyt Epinois is organised according to the model for new generation Colruyt stores. "We design our stores in such a way that customers can shop in an efficient and pleasant environment. When making renovations, we always aim at simplicity and the lowest costs, as our customers expect of us."

Brand-new butcher's department
Customers can choose their fresh quality meat in the self-service butcher's counter. Head butcher Cyril Lagrace: "The customers have a nice overview of the range of meat, cold cuts and salads, but also of the different fresh fish products and vegetarian dishes. Moreover they can see the butchers at work in an open workshop. They can easily talk to them if they have questions or special orders."

Collect&Go shops for the customer
Colruyt Epinois also has a Collect&Go point. "Collect&Go is a handy Colruyt Group service where we shop for the customers", says the store manager. "They send their shopping list to collectandgo.be or via the app, and the Collect&Go employees have their products ready at the pick-up point on the day and time of their choice. Handy!"

Special open house
From Wednesday 28 March, store manager Emmanuel Martin, head butcher Cyril Lagrace and their 42 co-workers will be on hand to welcome their customers to the brand-new Colruyt Epinois. Emmanuel Martin: "The evening before, on Tuesday 27 March from 5 to 8 pm, everyone is invited for a store preview. During this special open house, customers will be offered snacks and a drink. Everyone is most welcome!"
