    "body": "<p><span class=\"rls-date\">Monday, August 6, 2018</span></p><h4 id=\"shop-more-efficiently\" >Shop more efficiently</h4><p><em>&rdquo;During closure, we made the store a little larger&rdquo;</em>, (from 1260 to 1402 m&sup2;) says store manager Jean-Louis Drugmand. <em>&rdquo;It allowed us to make the freshmart larger and the alleys wider&rdquo;</em>. The store was completely rearranged as well. It allows customers to shop even more efficiently and pleasantly. <em>&rdquo;When making renovations, we always aim at simplicity and the lowest costs, as our customers expect from us&rdquo;</em>, the store manager continues.</p><h4 id=\"low-energy-store\" >Low-energy store</h4><p>Colruyt Binche has become a low-energy store: the outer walls and roof are better insulated. Moreover, the store is more hermetic than before. It also switches to sustainable technology with a propane-fuelled cooling system and heat recovery ventilation. <em>&rdquo;This project is part of a more comprehensive renovation plan: by 2029, all Colruyt Group stores should be low-energy stores&rdquo;</em>, says the store manager. <em>&rdquo;The group&#039;s CO</em><sub><em>2</em></sub><em> emissions have to go down by 4%.&rdquo;</em></p><h4 id=\"butchers-department-with-open-workshop\" >Butcher&#039;s department with open workshop</h4><p>Customers can choose their fresh quality meat in the self-service butcher&#039;s department. Head butcher Beno&icirc;t Techy: <em>&rdquo;Customers can see the butchers at work in an open workshop and talk to them if they have questions or a special order. They have a nice overview of the range of meat, cold cuts and salads.&rdquo;</em></p><h4 id=\"special-open-house\" >Special open house</h4><p>From Wednesday 8 August, store manager Jean-Louis Drugmand, head butcher Beno&icirc;t Techy and their 40 employees will be on hand to welcome customers again at the renewed Colruyt store in Binche.<br>\u200b<em>&rdquo;The evening before, on Tuesday 7 August from 5 to 8 p.m.,everyone is invited for a store preview&rdquo;</em>, says the store manager. <em>&rdquo;During this special open house, customers will be offered snacks and a drink.
