Colruyt and Collect&Go to open from 8 a.m. as from 16 February

As from Monday 16 February, all Colruyt stores and Collect&Go collection points will open from 8 a.m. Colruyt thus becomes the first discounter to open its doors so early. With this earlier opening time, the retailer mainly targets customers who want to do their weekly shopping at the lowest prices before starting their working day, as well as professional customers and resellers.

As from 16 February, all Colruyt stores and Collect&Go collection points will open from 8 a.m. By opening its stores half an hour earlier every day, the retailer aims to offer additional comfort to families with children, who can do their weekly shopping before the working day starts, as well as to professional customers and resellers.

Jo Willemyns, Director Food Retail at Colruyt Group: “As the first discounter, we will be opening our doors from 8 a.m. Our closing times will remain unchanged: every day until 8 p.m., and until 9 p.m. on Fridays. At Collect&Go too, customers will be able to collect their groceries half an hour earlier. In this way, we offer even more comfort to our customers. Our store co-workers already prepare the stores and collection points from 6 or 7 a.m., so they will not have to start earlier.”

At Collect&Go, both collection and delivery time slots are being extended. This offers customers even more convenience and improved accessibility. Customers can place their order every day until midnight and collect it as from 8 a.m. at one of the 248 collection points. The home delivery service will also become more flexible: groceries can now also be delivered in the morning and on Saturdays.
