Brand-new Colruyt Zoersel goes the extra mile for sustainability

Discover the brand-new store with Collect&Go collection point.

On Wednesday 30 November 2022, the brand-new Colruyt Zoersel will open its doors on Zoerselsteenweg. The old store was completely demolished and made way for a new, more sustainable Colruyt Lowest Prices store. Customers will also find a Collect&Go collection point there.

Spacious store with an extensive product range

Colruyt Zoersel is a spacious store with a large range of high-quality products, from both well-known and private labels (Boni Selection and Everyday). Store manager Joris Meulemans: "The fresh market also got a facelift. We rearranged the store shelves, creating more space for an even wider product range and wider aisles. Customers now have extra space to do their shopping with zero stress." There is also a butcher's department with an open workshop where you can see the qualified butchers at work. They are easily approachable in case of questions or for special orders.

Collect&Go takes care of your shopping

The new store also has a Collect&Go collection point. Collect&Go is Colruyt Group's handy online shopping service. Customers send their shopping lists to collectandgo.be or through the app and co-workers have their products ready at the collection point by the day and time of their choice.

Sustainable choices, as always

Colruyt always commits to sustainable development and Colruyt Zoersel is no exception: the store only uses LED lights with a sensor, saving up to 30 % on energy, and the residual heat of the cooling units is recovered. The vegetation on the green roof buffers the heat on hot days. Furthermore, material from the previous store has been reused wherever possible. A charging station for 2 electric cars has also been provided on the car park.

The team is ready

Joris Meulemans: "We are looking forward to welcoming our customers with the whole team. open houseThat is why we are happy to invite them to be the first to get acquainted with the new store during our open-house evening on Tuesday 29 November from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m."
