It is partly covered so customers can stay dry to load their shopping in their car even when it rains. The store has a surface of 1,695 m&sup2;. Customers can find a broad range of products in each department, national brands as well as the familiar private labels Boni Selection and Everyday. And 9 check-outs ensure a fluent service.&quot;</p><h4 id=\"butchers-department-with-open-workshop\" >Butcher&#039;s department with open workshop</h4><p>Customers can choose their fresh quality meat in the self-service butcher&#039;s counters. Head butcher Patrick Wandels: &quot;Customers can see the butchers at work in an open workshop and talk to them if they have questions or a special order. They also have a nice overview of the range of meat, cold cuts and salads.&rdquo;</p><h4 id=\"electronic-price-labels\" >Electronic price labels</h4><p>In the new Colruyt store, prices are mentioned on electronic labels. &quot;They offer quite a few advantages&quot;, says the store manager. &quot;With this new system, we can react to price changes at our competitors much faster. It is also better for the environment than paper labels: every year, we save a lot of transport and 75 million labels or 90 tonnes of paper. They are also energy-efficient since they only consume energy while a price is adapted. And we save time we can use to put products on the shelves for instance.&quot;</p><h4 id=\"40-new-jobs\" >40 new jobs</h4><p>The new store also brings extra employment. &quot;We are still looking for new colleagues&quot;, says the store manager. &quot;Indeed, in Colruyt Sint-Denijs-Westrem 40 new employees can start to work: 33 in the store and 7 in the butcher&#039;s department. They will put their best foot forward to serve our customers every day.&quot;</p><h4 id=\"collectgo-shops-for-the-customers\" >Collect&amp;Go shops for the customers</h4><p>There is a Collect&amp;Go pick-up point on the covered car park. &quot;Collect&amp;Go is a handy Colruyt Group service where we shop for the customers&quot;, says the store manager. &quot;They send their shopping list to collectandgo.be or via the app, and the Collect&amp;Go employees have their products ready at the pick-up point on the day and time of their choice.&rdquo;</p><h4 id=\"low-energy-store-4-less-co2\" >Low-energy store: 4 % less CO<sub>2</sub></h4><p>Colruyt Sint-Denijs-Westrem is a low-energy store with optimum insulation in the front and roof. It is also hermetically finished. The store is equipped with sustainable technology such as a refrigeration system with propene, heat recovery from the ventilation and the refrigeration system; etc. Bruno Cnudde: &quot;This project is part of a more comprehensive renovation plan: by 2029, all Colruyt Group stores should be low-energy stores. The group&#039;s CO<sub>2</sub> emissions have to go down by 4 %.&quot;</p><h4 id=\"special-open-evening-with-the-mayor\" >Special open evening with the mayor</h4><p>Store manager Bruno Cnudde, head butcher Patrick Wandels and their 38 employees are looking forward to welcoming their customers at the revamped Colruyt Sint-Denijs-Westrem as of Wednesday 19 June.<br>\u200b Bruno Cnudde: &quot;The evening before, on Tuesday 18 june from 5 to 8 p.m., everyone is invited for a store preview. During this special open evening, attended by mayor Mathias De Clercq, we will gladly offer our customers a snack and a drink.
